My Success Story:
I bought a scale at Christmas, 2009 and was shocked to see that I weighed 195 pounds when I thought I was around 155. I noticed my pants were getting tighter and I had to buy a larger size. Right then I decided I had to do something. I decreased my portions, reduced the amount of sugar (desserts) and started exercising 3 - 4 times a week. It's been almost 3 years since I started and I've lost 35 pounds, feel more energetic and have lost 2 sizes! (I'm 57.)
How WeightChart is helping:
By entering my weight, it motivates me when I see the downward trend. I like seeing the total amount of weight I've lost, the percentage of body weight I've lost and the body mass index. I'm no longer "overweight" but "normal". Although I still have 5 pounds to lose, I'll continue to use this chart even after I've reached my goal so that I keep motivated. I don't want to take the chance of regaining the weight - it was too much work to lose it!
